Blanche DuBois arrives at her sister’s New Orleans apartment with an air of grandeur. However, she has lost her family, and her wealth, and she hopes to find stability. Instead, she faces her brother-in-law’s distrust, and an environment she finds hard to cope with. The story of a woman’s search for a lost past, Streetcar is an iconic play about class-divide and the last days of the Old South when it must face a brave new world.
