"And we wanted to feel what she was feeling – she is one of us, we are artists – no we’re people – we wanted to feel what she was feeling – share the pain."
pool (no water), the acclaimed British play by playwright Mark Ravenhill, comes to the Adam's Pool this spring. Through a series of jealous and ambitious encounters, a bohemian art collective reconnect with one of their old members who has 'made it' in the real world. But a drunken jaunt around a luxurious house leads to disaster, and the collective begin to reexamine their role as friends, artists, and human beings. A play that feels so foreign and yet so reflective of our own individual fears, pool (no water) explores the risks you take when making art and the pain you can cause when your art is successful.
Please note, the show includes strong language and adult situations.
