On the South Pacific island of Utopia, King Paramount rules a race of lazy, inactive people who live under his absolute monarchy. When power-hungry government officials order his execution, Paramount’s daughter, Zara, having just returned from college, sets into place political reforms to save her father’s crown and restructure society. Her reforms make Utopia’s people so healthy and happy that doctors and lawyers find themselves out of work and destitute. Join us for a hilarious political farce courtesy of the incomparable Gilbert and Sullivan!
