New techies and experienced techs, welcome! Like most productions you'll ever encounter, HRDC shows are always looking for tech people. Follow the instructions here to sign up for the necessary mailing lists and then drop the HRDC Tech Liaison an email to let him know what sort of jobs you might be interested in. Technical directors, lighting designers, sound designers, costumers, et al. are always looking for extra hands and eyes, and often they advertise position openings here or over the HRDC Mailing List.

Planning a Show
Numerous members of the HRDC community have compiled information that may be helpful when planning the technical aspects of a show at Harvard. Almost everything you will ever need to know is contained in the brand-new Harvard Technical Theater Handbook, compiled by Courtney Thompson '09 and Andrea Tsurumi '07. You can download the online version, which is missing some drawings and diagrams, or get a hard copy of the full version from the HRDC Technical Liaison or any board member. (The file is big, 620KB, so it may take a while to download. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0+ to view it.) Also helpful is this great website from Artslynx International Artistic Resources, which has lots of great tech resources, compliments of Courtney Thompson. It even has a tech humor page!
